Bonsai Dragon at Patchtogether
So I really have been loading up the site with a lot of 2d drawings. I think this is because I do so little of it at work that it’s such a treat. I also have a lot to learn so I keep pushing it and practicing. Here’s an example of my 3d skills. Where it’s actually a combination of 2d and 3d.
2d – Initial sketch, 3d – Low poly model in 3d Studio, 3d – Adding geometry details in Zbrush, 3d – import into Max for final lighting and camera placement, 3d – Render the model with diffuse, zdepth maps, 2d – color over the model, adjust background color.
He’s up for voting at PatchTogether now. The person who gets the most votes has a chance to have the design turned into a resin figure for purchase. Pretty cool.

Hi there, I am loving your designs. I just purchased a limited edition version of your Vapore Macchina Insetto from sideshow collectibles and I just found your Dragon Bonsai! I just hope you you don’t sell out quickly because I really want to get one of these too! Keep up the great work. I wanted to let you know that you should continue the steampunk visions and create a steampunk utopia. I would gladly purchase other steampunk creations from you were they to be made.
